More "Deals" for NBC's Hit Show

Dutch game show creator Endemol, which created "Big Brother" and "Fear Factor," has inked a deal with Take-Two Interactive's budget publisher, Global Star Software, to bring "Deal or No Deal" to PCs this fall. In a separate deal, Endemol has greenlit a Jakks Pacific Plug and Play TV Game next spring. Both games will retail for $20 each. These deals are on top of the online gaming deal Endemol signed last year with King.com for a "Deal or No Deal" online game. There's also another "Deal or No Deal" game available on NBC.com that directly links with the TV game show.
Howie Mandel, host of the American version of the TV game show, will appear in the PC game in digital form. There were no details if Mandel would also create original voicework for the game. Mandel is not part of the online game from King.com.
The "Deal or No Deal" PC game will also include those suitcases, models and the banker. Because real money won't be involved, the PC game will offer gamers the chance to play for chores, which losers will have to perform around the house.
"Deal or No Deal" is the latest game show to head to videogames. "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" went to both PC and consoles in its heydey. Konami is working on a new "American Idol Presents Karaoke Revolution" game, a few years after Codemasters released a console "American Idol" game. Ubisoft previously released a "Survivor" PC game and a "Fear Factor" PC game was released from Arush.
